The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), or Recovery Act, was passed in 2009 in response to the Great Recession During the period of President Barack Obama it aimed to jumpstart the ailing economy.
It preserves the existing jobs and helps to create new ones. This act included the measurements for preventing the business from laying off the employees and also helped you to invest in sectors like infrastructures.
This will provide relief to those in the most affected parts of the recession. This act expanded unemployment benefits and increased access to food and Medicaid. They also offered tax breaks to low and middle-income earners.
ARRA allocated the funds for improving the infrastructures like roads and bridges along with the other developments of the public properties.
